The Bug Collection
Hihn Thumworm
Habitat:
Description:
Notes:This larval caterpillar, for some reason, grows to precisely one thum's length, invariably. One of its foraging habits is to anchor its tail on a leaf, and scour in a perfect two-thum circle. Used to study radius, circumference and diameter. Studies of the shadows cast by leaves eaten thus produced knowledge of ellipses. It metamorphoses into the Mithril Faeyora butterfly at adulthood.
