| Description: | Glossy resin, applied in a thick layer over the already hardened leather of this helmet, further strengthens the armor. The gloss also keeps the helmet from water damage. Thin padding along the inside of the helmet provides additional comfort, but also serves to keep the fit of the helmet snug to the head. An extension of hardened leather at the back of the helmet protects the back of the neck.
