| Description: | Sitting just at the hips, this leather brigandine possesses the same form as the doublet, but lacks in sleeves. Four large buckles with accompanying leather straps fasten the armor around the front of the body. Thinner straps and buckles run up and over the shoulders. Along the chest area of the armor, an extra set of hardened leather panels reinforce and provide further
protection against blows. Metal rivets run along the seams to ensure that the armor holds together.
