Usage: mail
Description:
(#) - Move your current message pointer to # and display that message.
r - Reply to the current message without quoting the text. Will also add "RE: " to the beginning of the subject.
R - Reply *AND* quote the current message and also add "RE: " to the beginning of the subject.
f - Forward current message, add "FWD: " to the subject, and quote the text.
f # - Forward message number # to <username>, add "FWD: " to the subject, and quote the text.
d - Mark the current message for deletion. The message will not actually be deleted until you exit the mail system or refresh with $.
d # - Mark message number # for deletion (same as above).
u - Undelete current message (remove mark for deletion).
u # - Undelete message number # (remove mark for deletion).
h - Show the 22 most recent message headers.
h # - Start with message number # and show the next 22 mail headers.
$ - Refresh your mailbox. Check for new messages that arrived while you were in the mail system, delete marked messages, etc.
q, x - Exit the mail system (q and x do the same thing).
Q - Exit the mail system without saving changes or updating pointers.
