| Description: | The rounded top of the goldroot tuber protrudes approximately two thums from the ground. From the central top of the root, several thin sturdy green stems sprout from a clustered location. Fluffy lacy leaves spread from the stems, creating a great deal of surface area from which the plant gains most of its energy. The gained nutrients funnel directly into the growth of the root. The subterranean structure grows to be approximately seven to nine thums in length, and it can weigh up to five crowns. Its rounded shape resembles an inverted egg with the bulbous end being slightly above ground.
