Bordensbane

Habitat: |
|
Description: | With fibrous roots and hard stems, this plan grows in a stout, clumped formation that allows the plant to reach approximately one rand in height. The small, oval-shaped leaves curve down at the margins and grow in pairs on the branches. At the terminal end of each branch, conical flowers with three petals that curl outwards and two that point straight up frame long, pollen-tipped filaments. These flowers are small and yellow, and they cluster tightly together, giving the illusion that each branch is tipped with one very large, fluffy flower.
