Common Name: adolescent gorgant
Species: insect
Habitat: gorgant hills, sandy environments
Description: Though covered with a smooth, brown exoskeleton, this undersized insect's carapace appears thin and flimsy as it scurries about rapidly on short, spindly legs. Its round abdomen appears oversized relative to its small head and thorax. Long, thin antennae twitch about spasmodically and it sports the beginnings of what will eventually grow into pincers and mandibles.
