Shavined Grrtydid
Habitat:	Savanna plains, arid regions.
Description:	The fur-trimming patterns of some lupkyn were no doubt inspired by or claim to have attributed to the striped and mottled variations of this katydid cousin. Many males appear tiger striped, leopard spotted, hyena mottled or even human braided in their miniature camouflage patterns.
Notes:	The most brightly colored areas are on the insect's abdomen, and some cultures are historically reputed to have used the underside of grrtydids for divinations, much like the reading of animal entrails.

Some common patterns are tiger-striped, leopard-spotted, braided, cub-mottled and pebbling.
