Kekedid
Habitat:Temperate regions of Katavyan, Ta'Raekhet and Mitralon.
Description:A spring green along their carapaces and leaf-shaped wings, the male specimens of this katydid cousin are bright displays. Conversely, the female coloration ranges closer to dark tans and light browns.
Notes:The females are not known to chirrup, but the male calls of the kekedid are legendary, mentioned in many texts, and span the known world. Infamous for the loud, brash and highly repetitious "keke!", they can be heard and detested for miles.

No one likes them. Ever.

Easily found, harder to catch. The kekedid can leap many yards in a single bound, aided over distance by their wings.
