Description: This beautiful weapon consists of a triangular, slicing head where the base
of the triangle has been honed to a fine edge, and the point of the triangle
consists of a small pentagon with an oval shaped hole through which the wooden
haft is inserted. The head is fixed to the wood by sliding the head from the
bottom of the handle and forcing it over the slightly wider top of the handle.
The tip of the haft widens to prevent the axe head from falling off, and the
craftsmanship needed to make the entire weapon can be seen in all seventeen
thums of its simple yet effective design. The head of the axe is smooth and
ready for a great deal of decorative work.
