Copper War Axe

Description: This war axe consists of a narrow, slicing blade on a broad, socketed head and a rand and a half worth of sturdy, wooden haft. The light weapon, weighing no more than a crown, can be swung rapidly in deep, cutting motions designed to crush armor and easily cut flesh. Langets, long metal strips, decorate the shaft and prevent it from being damaged in battle. Thin strips of supple leather wrap around the hilt of the axe, creating a comfortable, sturdy grip for the weapon, and likely, the leather will soak up blood, preventing the grip from becoming slick in battle.

Notes: This weapon can be wielded either with another one-handed weapon or with a shield.
