On observing the blush bloom plant, one might take notice of the long jagged leaves that are found clustered just above the roots. It is these leaves and their large surface area that enable enough sunlight to be collected to produce the multitude of flowers present on each individual plant. Blush blooms that are allowed only partial sunlight to the leaves often yield only a few blossoms, if any at all.
